The Both Wise app is a platform for people of all races, backgrounds, and the like to interact, connect, and learn new things. We hope that Both Wise users use the app without abusing, insulting, or violating one another’s rights while doing so – hence, the need for these Community Guidelines (these “Guidelines”).
These Guidelines are a supplemental agreement to the Both Wise Terms of Service. They communicate our rules regarding your conduct on Both Wise, including concerning your content and interaction with other users. You understand that we may terminate your use of Both Wise if you fail to adhere to these Guidelines.
Sexually Explicit Content
We do not permit contents that promote or exhibit pornography (this, however, does not include breastfeeding and other non-sexual depictions). We prohibit contents that contain nudes of people under 18 years of age. We do not allow contents that promote prostitution, escort services, child exploitation, or child trafficking. Including any sexually explicit comments or descriptions in your messages is prohibited – unless the recipient has indicated that they regard such a content as appropriate.
Photos and Copyright Infringement
We respect the copyright and other intellectual property rights of others, and we want our users to do the same. If a photo is not yours or you do not have the owner’s license to post it, please don’t! If someone did not give their written consent to post their private photos – such as a picture of them in a locker, bathroom, or bedroom – please don’t! If someone is featured in a photo you post and they ask you to remove it, please respect their privacy rights.
Harassment and Bullying
You may not harass or bully another Both Wise user. This applies to situations where you are blocked and decided to contact them through another account. You may not make fun of other users for their posts, country of origin, religion, or beliefs.
Illegal or Malicious Activities
Do not use Both Wise for anything illegal, including without limitation, activities that promote crime(including cybercrime), or otherwise connect with people to sell or buy illegal drugs, weapons, contraband, and counterfeit documents or goods. Do not post contents that contain graphic descriptions of first-hand participation in any illegal activities. Do not promote any illegal goods or industries, including tobacco products, alcohol, and gambling. Do not post malware, viruses, trojan horses, worms, bots, or other malicious programs that may interfere with or harm Both Wise and its operation.
Impersonation, Deception, and False Content
We do not allow accounts that pretend to be someone they are not. You must post accurate information at all times (including your profile information), and you must rectify any inaccurate information upon becoming aware of it. You must not deceive others into making them believe you are someone or something else. You may not falsely represent yourself as any celebrity, or brand, or as being part of a group or organization.You must not submit any contents that contain disinformation or that present unverified facts. We strongly advise that you verify the accuracy of anyinformation before posting it on Both Wise.
Threats, Violence, and Harm
Don’t engage in practices that promote violence, abuse, or self-destruction. You may not threaten to harm another person or a group or otherwise intimidate them. Do not post contents that display or show violence, including animal abuse and self-harm, such as suicide and self-injury.
Terrorism and Hate Speech
You must not submit contents that relate to or advocate terrorism or violent extremism. We do not allow contents that contain hate speech. You must not post content that defames, demeans, or promotes discrimination based on color, race, group, caste, religious beliefs, age, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, ethnicity, disability, immigration status, or body type.
Spam Content
We do not permit accounts that send repetitive messages or similar content to multiple users at a time. Do not send any irrelevant, unwanted messages to another user unless they’ve given you the approval to do so. Your content must be original, professional, interesting, and relevant, and it must not contain artificial elements with the aim of increasing content engagement.
Non-Solicitation
We do not allow accounts that solicit other users into making them buy any product or service. Both Wise is not a marketplace; therefore, you must not treat it as such.
Reporting Violations
If you come across any content that violates these Guidelines, please help us and other users to keep Both Wise safe by reporting it through the reporting feature provided on each content, orreach out to us at info@bothwise.com. Upon receiving your report, we will act on it immediately.
Consequences of Violations
Please, endeavor to take these Guidelines seriously. If we determine that your content on Both Wise violates any of these Guidelines, we may likely remove the content or limit its visibility and send you notice of our action. If you are a repeat violator, we may warn you or limit, suspend, restrict, or terminate your use of Both Wise.
